About This Course

The Independent Study offers students the opportunity to work on their own film projects with the mentorship of a UCLA Extension instructor. Instructors are selected based on the scope of the students' proposal. Together, the student and instructor will arrange to meet either in person or by phone/online for a total of 6 hours over the course of the quarter.

Independent Studies are restricted only to candidates in certificate programs; and only to those students who have completed a substantive portion of their course work. Students must complete the independent study application for approval to enroll.
